Sub-processor List
Material sub-processors used to deliver the Service. Published per Section 8(2) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

7.1 What this page lists
This page lists the material sub-processors engaged by Versoaltima India Pvt. Ltd. to provide Ask VAI, an internal organizational tool. Each sub-processor is bound by a written data-processing agreement that requires processing only on our documented instructions, confidentiality obligations, reasonable security practices, assistance with Data Principal rights and breach response, and deletion or return of data on termination.
7.2 Self-hosted components
The core data store and search and cache infrastructure are self-hosted on infrastructure under our control and are not third-party sub-processors. These are: PostgreSQL (primary database), Meilisearch (search index), and Valkey (cache and queue). Organizational data in these components is hosted on the same provider that hosts the application.

Where applicable, sub-processors are India-resident. ZeptoMail and Zoho Mail are operated by Zoho Corporation, an India-headquartered company, with India-region data residency. The AI and large-language-model provider(s) used for the assistant are bound by contracts prohibiting use of our data to train any model; where a request is processed outside India, contractual safeguards equivalent to Indian law apply.
7.4 Notice of changes
We will notify the organization at least 30 days in advance of adding or replacing any material sub-processor, through in-Service notice or email.
7.5 Sub-processor security and DPA
Every sub-processor on this list is bound by a data-processing agreement compliant with Section 8(2) of the DPDP Act and, where applicable, equivalent international standards. AI sub-processors are bound by additional contractual prohibitions on using our data to train models.
7.6 Cross-border transfers
Where a sub-processor is located outside India, transfers comply with Section 16 of the DPDP Act. We do not transfer personal data to any country specifically restricted by the Central Government.
